It's a Girl?

As promised we're revealing the sex of little Rabbit. Well... sort of!
We didn't actually find out the sex at the ultrasound but we've searched the web for old wives tales to test out. Here are the results:

  • Heart rate: A fetal heart rate above 140 bpm means it's a girl.
    • Heart rate at last appointment was in the 140s and at the ultrasound it was 150 bpm. Girl
  • Food cravings: Sweet = Girl, Sour & Salty = Boy
    • Sometimes I crave sweets (cereal, chocolate milk, ice cream), but sometimes I've had a hankering for something salty (tacos, mac & cheese) or sour (pickles, orange juice, cranberry juice).  Inconclusive
  • The Mayan Test: add your age at conception and the year of conception. If the resulting number is even, the baby is a girl, if odd, boy.
    • Boy
  • "How do I look?": If you've got the famous pregnancy "glow" and you've never looked better, expect a boy. If, on the other hand, you're breaking out, expect a girl. The theory behind this one is that a girl saps the beauty out of her mother.
    • I've never had a clear complexion but I've been breaking out worse than ever lately. Girl
  • Morning sickness: Feeling ill? It's a girl! Feeling fine? It's a boy!
    • The only time I ever felt ill was when I took my vitamins in the morning (fish burps and heartburn all day) or on an empty stomach. My mom says she never felt sick with me or with my brother so that seems to fly in the face of this test. regardless: Boy
  • Mood swings: Mood swings indicate girl, while a cheerful disposition means you're having a boy.
    • Bursting into tears has become at least a weekly occurrence for me. Mr. is a trooper for putting up with me, and a knight in shining armor for being so sweet about it too. Girl
  • Bread: If you eat the ends of bread it's a boy, if you eat the middle, it's a girl.
    • Bleh, unless it's a warm, freshly baked loaf, I never eat the ends of bread. I don't, however, normally have a problem eating crusts but yesterday, I couldn't stand the taste of the crust on the sandwich Mr made me so I peeled it off. Girl?
  • (Day)Dream (Dis)Believer: If you have a dream about the sex of the baby, you are having the opposite.
    • So far, I've had a dream about a baby boy, though how I managed to dream between frequent trips to the bathroom was pretty surprising in itself. Girl
  • Chinese Gender Chart: I don't know how exactly this works but it involves your age at conception and the month in which you conceived. Check it out here.
    • Girl
Results:     Girl 5        Boy 2

Got any more tests we should try? Feel free to explain them as a comment. There are lots more tests out there we haven't tried. Some because they were inconclusive, some I'm not far enough along for, and some are just plan weird (mixing Drano in my pee? No thanks! We don't have any Drano around the house anyway).
