Windowsill Garden

I've started my windowsill garden!

I planted herbs in old water bottles (cut off the old then punch holes in the bottom for drainage). Then I nailed some holes in the bottoms of a few old cans, spray painted and strung them together. Insert bottled plants and hang. I think they look awfully cute!

Here is my planter of lettuce. We'll see how it does but I'm hoping to harvest it for baby greens.

I have a few more herbs starting here waiting for cans to hang in.
