New House Part 1

Here's the first little taste of our new house. We've been pretty busy lately so we haven't really finished unpacking so I'll be revealing it a bit at a time.

Here is part of my living room. On the other side of the room I have an ugly orange arm chair. One item on my summer to-do list is to re-upholster it to match the rest of the room.

Here's my kitchen! I'm so happy about it because it is much bigger than my old one. Locals might recognize the butcher block from IUP's production of Crimes of the Heart. We got it as a wedding gift from the theater department last year. My dad fixed it up for us and now we finally have a kitchen we can use it in. Other things I love about it: the book shelf (hiding behind the butcher block in pic #2) for my cookbooks and cooking magazines & I now have enough counter space to keep 90% of my appliances out.
